Book Project

These two pictures are mt favorite book pages because they are super creative and have some pretty fun colors. For the top one I just made circles and colored in half of the circles with sharpie and did water color for the other circles. For my second page I used the condensed paint to get the cool water looking effect. Since I did a rainbow, I figured that I would have to put some type of unicorn in the picture. Overall I really like these pictures and have really started to like experimenting with other mediums.

Sun Flare

This sun flare was taken outside of Mrs. Dewitt's room. I didn't even know what a sun flare was before this picture project. It turned out to be a pretty cool picture, especially with the sun flare coming through the tree branches. 

Framing Picture

When i was first assigned this picture project, I had know idea what to do. So I decided to go in the dog cage and take a picture of the 3rd period art class.

Silhouette Picture

I took this picture last summer on my way to church one night. I really like how it turned out. And in this case it works for my silhouette photo. 

Choice Project

This was my favorite picture from prom so i choose this to be my choice picture. Prom was a really fun time so I figured I would share this cute picture with you

Spring Photo

This is a perfect picture for spring. You can see that all of the snow is melted. You can also see that the sun is shining and the sky is clear. Doesn't it look like a nice spring day to you?

Stranger Photo

This picture is a picture of a stranger. This stranger happened to be a volleyball line judge. 

Sculpted Food

For my sculpted food project i choose to make a piece of toast with some butter on it. It was a really simple project to make because all I used was clay and then fired it and then painted it.

Messy Art

For my messy art project i chose to make  a rainbow because who doesn't like rainbows? And of course there is always a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. To make this project messy, i did it in splatter paint. personally i really like how this project turned out.

Iconic Crazy Colors

For this project, I chose to draw Mount Saint Helen's. Instead of having a blue background, i changed it to yellow. Instead of having a blue and grey mountain i changed it to pink and faded to purple. The last part i changed was that i made the trees different shades of purple instead of green. 

Famous work remake

For my art project I chose to recreate Scream by Van Gogh. I put in Barbie and Ken from Toy Story 3. The bridge, Barbie, and Ken are shaded with pencil. The background is chalk painted. 

Shadow

Personally this is my favorite picture. As you can see it looks like a person holding a little rabbit, but when in reality it is Jacob placing his hands in a specific place to form the bunny. Isn't it cute?

Bugs View

A bugs view is quite limited. I took a picture in the grass to show that a bug that crawls through grass would just see grass. I tried to get the picture as low to ground as I could. 

Before/After

This picture and the title is pretty self explanatory. The picture on the left is a picture of a full cup of delicious mac ans cheese. The picture on the right is the now empty cup.    

Triptych

This project is three separate pictures that come together and make one. I drew the flowers and colored them in with chalk. The colors i chose match the color of my room and is now hanging up.

Choice Project

For my choice project I decided to make a lamp for my room. I made it out of clay, there are four clay walls and the base is also made of clay. I let the clay harden a bit then carved out swirls on 3 of the 4 sides. I then fired my lamp and painted it grey to match my room.

Simplicity

This is an object with a very simple background. 

Cubism

For my cubism project I chose to make a lamb because I knew that i could do something funky with its wool. As you can see from the picture, it's pretty funky, but it's a good kind of funky. For the wool I used paint, the paint is in pointillism form. The face and legs are in triangular form which I then shaded different shades to really have the triangles pop. Last but not least, the background is just a random pattern that I thought of, I colored it with colored pencil.

Sticky or Messy

For my sticky/messy project I chose to make a doughnut with jelly oozing out of it. The entire thing is made out of clay. I fired it, and once it was finished I glazed it and made it look like a real doughnut.

Recreation

This is a picture of Morgan and myself when we were 5 and 4 years old. I actually found the same deck of cards that were in the old picture and used them in the new picture.

Repetition

I drew this saxophone and colored it pink. The music notes are the repetition.  

Kids

This is a picture of two kids interacting by playing an intense game of checkers. 

Pet

This here is a picture of my dog Macy. She is pretty cute as you can see and I love her to death. 

Window Selfie

This is a picture of a lost girl looking out the window to try and see into her future and hope for a better life that she lives today. 

Self Portrait

My self portrait is on a piece of wood, it had nails on the main focal points on my face. I used string to create the different colors for my hair, face, eyes, mouth, and shirt. 

Curves

This painting is in the high school, it is called "Starry Night." 

Winter Wonder Land

I took this picture outside of the school.
